When measuring the force, it should be applied to the outer side of the E-shaped beam of the strain sensor. This creates a shear force and causes changes in the middle strain beam bending, which is necessary to accurately measure the stress. The strain gauge is attached to the intermediate adhesive coating with white beam arms. The outer edges should not obstruct the force and the measurement should not be affected.
