MLX90614 is an infrared thermometer module designed to be able to measure object temperature without having to touch the surface of the object directly. Accompanied by a DSP with 17-bit ADC resolution, it can read the temperature of objects very accurately.
The output data itself can be accessed via a microcontroller via a serial interface.
