Introducing a rosin-based, mildly-active no-clean tacky solder flux specifically designed for professional and industrial use. This flux is compliant with MIL specs and is ideal for various soldering applications such as syringe dispensing, stencil printing, rework, BGA sphere attachment, and reballing using standard tin/lead alloys (not suitable for lead-free metals). The flux has an increased viscosity of 43-71 (Malcom @ 10 RPM/25°C (x103mPa/s)), making it easy to control and apply.

One of the key features of this solder flux is its high temperature compatibility, with a tolerance of up to 300°C/600°F. It leaves an amber residue that evaporates with hot air, preventing shorting of components and ensuring a clean finish. The residue is non-corrosive when activated, allowing it to be left on the board for multiple SMT assemblies. However, the manufacturer recommends cleaning all flux residues at all times to avoid board contamination or voltage leakage on circuits with high impedance, as non-activated residue may absorb moisture from the air and cause corrosion.

The flux is halide-free (<0.05%) and complies with REACH regulations. It contains a UV-tracer for fast detection of splatter, making it convenient for quality control purposes. The solder flux is classified as ROL0, meaning it is non-corrosive and does not short components, and it can be easily removed with hot air, foam swab, and basic solvents like d-limonene or isopropanol. It is surface insulation resistant and does not cause copper mirror breakthrough or low electrochemical migration (<1 decade drop).

This solder flux is intended for professional use with pneumatic dispensing machines and comes with an industrial air-syringe. It is important not to remove the piston stopper and to keep the original nozzle cap tightened while not in use to prevent drying out upon extended contact with air. The supplied dispensing tip and plunger allow for manual control of the flux flow. It is recommended to store the flux at room temperature and avoid refrigeration.
